Blended Therapeutic Massage
A more traditional massage with optional orthopedic tests and techniques that address specific client aches and pains. Traditional modalities include:
- Relaxation massage – full-body massage technique designed to promote relaxation, circulation, and overall well-being.
- Sports massage – focused on preventing injuries, improving athletic performance, and speeding recovery.
- Deep tissue massage – targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to relieve chronic tension, pain, and restricted movement.
- Myofascial release – a hands-on therapy that focuses on relieving tension in the fascia—the thin, connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, nerves, and organs.
- Chair massage – a short, seated massage performed while you sit in a specially designed ergonomic chair, fully clothed. It focuses on relieving upper-body tension quickly and conveniently.
The current rate is $20 per 15-minute unit*.
Other optional add-on services include:
- Biofreeze – Professional strength Biofreeze used to relieve sore muscles, aches, and pain. – $10
- Himalayan Hot Stones – Himalayan hot salt stones added to manual massage therapy that promotes deeper relaxation of soft tissue and pain relief. – $20
- Dry Silicone Cupping – Dry silicone cupping used to promote circulation, loosen fascia, relieve muscle tension, and healing of soft tissue. – $10

Back and Hips
Medical massage can help reduce or eliminate pain from these common back and hip disorders:
- Pelvic Tilt and Rotation
- Lumbago
- Piriformis Syndrome
- Sacroiliac (SI Joint) Pain
- Trauma from Accidents or Falls
- Abnormalities in Bones or Joints Related to Disease, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis or Degenerative Disc Disease
- Abnormalities in Bones or Joints Related to Poor Posture such as Osteoarthritis or Bone Spurs
- Muscle Strain
- Bulging Discs
- Idiopathic (True) Scoliosis
- Functional Scoliosis / Leg Length Discrepancy
- Postural Deviations such as Kyphosis or Lordosis
- Post-operative Conditions such as Failed Back Syndrome
Kyphosis – excessive forward curvature of the upper and middle back.
Lordosis – excessive inward curvature of the neck and/or low back regions.
Failed Back Syndrome – recurring back and/or leg pain after one or more spinal surgeries that were intended to relieve that pain.
Treatment can include assessment, consultation, and manual therapy.
Initial treatment is typically four (4) 15-minute units*, whereas follow-up treatments are typically two (2) 15-minute units.

Lower Extremities
